1 tube Pillsbury pizza dough
1/2 lb block cheddar jack cheese (will use about a third)
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried parsley
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Lightly coat a large baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
Spread the pizza dough and cut in half the narrow dimension and then into five pieces (roughly four fingers wide) the other direction, creating a total of 10 small rectangles.
Cut five half-finger width slices of cheese, than cut each in half the long way.
Place at least a tablespoon of the taco meat in the center of each piece of dough and top with a piece of cheese.
Lightly moisten the edge of each stick, then fold closed, making sure the pinch all the seams. Place each one seam down on the tray.
Combine the melted butter, garlic powder and parsley in a small bowl and brush it on the tops of the cheesy taco sticks.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown on top.
